When you're smiling...

How the time flies, I noticed the other day that my last post was on 18th September. I don't know what's happened to the last month - it just vanished!

As you can see the little one has moved on quite considerably. Staring straight into her mummy's eyes in this photo, she apparently shares Janey's sense of humour (something I don't think I'll ever fully understand ;-) When she smiles it's indescribable...

The Little Kat met her Grandma Pat for the first time recently and had a fabulous time getting loads of cuddles; it was good to see Grandma Pat bonding with the Kat. Note the (empty) bottle of bubbly on the table - this shot is the day after I...drum roll please...wait for it...PASSED MY DRIVING TEST!!! I was beginning to think I'd never see the day, third time lucky as they say - only four minor errors this time so even if I do say so myself there were some colours flying that day :-)

Kat's been to her first wedding, our lovely friends Andy & Caroline got married a couple of weeks ago over the border in Wales so in fact Kat has had her first trip abroad too. Unfortunately no pictures survive of just how cute she looked in her little denim number as they wouldn't let us back across the border with any evidence of people having a good time over there.


Lots of walks have been had come fair weather or foul, obviously no pics of the foul, and there are not many of the fair either... it seems we've been enjoying ourselves far too much to think of taking photos all the time. Here's me and the Kat in the Peak District a few weeks ago.

The other news of course is the arrival of the Kat's baby cousin Jodie. She was born in Germany on 2nd October following a worrying spell of her mummy being poorly. Baby and family are now doing well and we're all looking forward to seeing them at Christmas - the photos are on Jane's PC which is off at the moment so I'll show her off next time.

Finally, there was a bit of a Wells family gathering a couple of weeks ago with Auntie Stevie and Uncle Theo putting in rare appearances - a great time was had by all! Picture upload is being a pain I'll try again later...
